About me

After a three-year stint in Sydney, Australia I relocated to Southern California. Amongst my regular clients are The European Press-Photo Agency and The Los Angeles Times. My images have appeared in Newsweek, Time, Stern, The New York Times and many others.

I have worked in a number of countries including Haiti, Burma, Thailand, Israel and Australia. I am a certified first-responder and have professional training and years of experience covering wildfires.

I make frequent trips over and along the US-Mexico border and will be making a number of extended trips throughout 2008. In 2006 I received an award from the Gordon Parks Photography Competition for the image at left.
